Is Reiki business help a scam?

    Christian Stone
Is selling help with starting a Reiki business a scam? Like in the California Gold rush days where it wasn't the miners who became rich panning for gold, it was the people selling shovels to the people trying to get rich. That's how I feel about things related to showing people how they can build Reiki businesses. Who's actually benefitting from your books, programs, and conferences? Is it really the little town Reiki practitioner who desperately needs to make money with a Reiki practice? If you were giving the information for free, then I wouldn't have a qualm.

One of the most classic business scams is the "self-help" and "secrets of success" where the trick to making money is to "come to my seminar" or "buy my book" so you can know my secrets, too. I'm not accusing you of being selfish or unethical, but there are no business secrets that guarantee success except luck, hard work, and having a product that everyone wants.

What Should I Think About While Sending Reiki?

    Christian Stone
When you send Reiki, what is happening in your mind? Are you thinking about anything in specific? I have been a Reiki practitioner for years, and since the beginning, I have continually repeated “sending Reiki” or “sending” in my mind during the session. I keep thinking if I don’t continue repeating that in my mind Reiki may stop. I know this is foolish, since Reiki is intelligent, but I can’t get out of the habit after so long! What should I be thinking about?

How Do I Start a Distance Reiki Business?

    Christian Stone
Most of my practice has been in-person sessions, but I would REALLY like to grow the distance Reiki portion of my business (only had a few so far). What's the best way for distance clients to find you? Google, SEO, social media? Wondering where to focus my energy first, since I'm not well versed in these areas quite yet.

How to Offer Group Reiki Sessions

    Christian Stone
I will be hosting my first Reiki group session and am wondering:
    How long should it be?
How do I fill the time other than having a meditation, grounding, and sending Reiki to the collective?
Is it better to have a set intention for each session or to allow them to set their own? Do I allow time for sharing?

    Offering Reiki at Retreats

    Christian Stone
What advice do you have for offering Reiki at a retreat, including fee? A friend of a friend reached out asking if I'd be interested in offering Reiki at a women's retreat. I am excited and think this could be a great opportunity, but also feel a little unprepared. Do you have any advice about what questions I should ask the retreat manager or anything specific I should share with her? How do I handle negotiating offering Reiki for a retreat? What should my fee be?

    How to Get Reiki Reviews

    Christian Stone
What is the best way to get testimonials from your Reiki clients? I’m revamping my website and want to include powerful and genuine testimonials and success stories. I’m planning on sending previous clients a text or email (maybe with a video) and am wondering if I should include a format/outline to make it simpler for them?
